Remember that faxed entries are not acceptable.
There will be a $25 office fee for accounts not settled at the end of the show.
Schooling: Friday, noon to 6 p.m., weather permitting, $25 per horse payable Friday. Schooling will be free beginning at 7 a.m. each morning, but the number allowed in the ring at a given time may be limited. Short stirrup riders will have a ten minute session prior to their first class.
Stalls: $40, no bedding, reserve in advance on your pre-entry, cancel by noon Thursday to avoid being charged.
Rules: This is a member show of the Capital Horse Shows Association and a VHSA Associate show. The show will be run in accordance with VHSA rules with the exception of fence heights. Six ribbons will be awarded in all classes. A Champion ribbon and award and a Reserve ribbon will be awarded in all year end award divisions. A horse or pony must have shown in at least one class over fences to be eligible for the under saddle class of that division. Equitation classes may have a posted order.
Exhibitors must wear ASTM/SEI approved, protective headgear at all times when mounted. Junior riders must be supervised by an adult at all times. All owners and riders must sign a waiver of liability stating that neither the Deep Run Hunt Club, nor the Deep Run Hunt Horse Show Association, nor the VHSA or CHSA will be responsible for any accidents. An adult must sign for all junior riders.
Dogs must be leashed at all times. All motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver.
The show committee reserves the right to refuse entry, to change the schedule, to combine classes, and to change judges at any time.
Pre-entries must be signed, received by noon on Thursday before the show and include a legible copy of the Coggins. A current, negative Coggins report is required of all horses and ponies on the grounds, and numbers will not be issued until this report is presented.
